This beautiful
Japanese/Chinese Calligraphy brush
, was never used, combines function and beauty.  New Old Stock, however case has a noticeable blemish (scrape).
Blemish does not affect functionality of the instrument.
It has a light tan bamboo shaft with plastic ends holding the brush bristles. There is a black material loop at the top for hanging brush while using or to dry. This beautiful instrument is nestled in a wooden case closed with metal clasps (Please see photos for details) It is secured in the a orange/yellow padded box with black elastic loops
Box dimensions are: 14-1/2" in. in length, 4-1/2" in. in width, 1-1/2" in. in depth.
Brush measures 11" in. in length, stem is 5/16" in, diameter, brush bristle is 1-1/2" in.
Excellent condition, a great addition to your desk or easel.
