' when this issue came out ... in 1971 !  This was when the Pigpen ! Era was still going real-strong, while still towards the end too.  The still " Pre " Keith & Donna Godchaux Era - with Keith starting not even until October 1971.  And too ... this is even 1-Year " Prior " to the Legendary ! & Historic !! Grateful Dead Europe '72 Tour !  Wow ... some serious primal G.D. History here, in these pages - and ... even with an Awesome ! This Magazine ( Guitar Player ( 4/71 ) / Jerry Garcia Cover ) is in ' Good ' condition - close to Good/Very Good overall, with light wear from use, storage, natural aging ( over 45-years ! ).  Please see all photos provided.  There is a tear ( approximately 1" ) on the back cover ( top / middle edge area - photos #11 & #12 ), some creasing, surface wear, and all inside
tear-away mailers, etc. are still 100% in-tact
.  A very-solid copy for reading the articles, viewing the photos/ads, enjoying - and even for the Collector too.  Good to Good/Very Good condition across the board, and close to Very Good condition in many places on the inside pages - with an Absolutely-Fabulous ! Garcia Article in it's content ... Wow !!!  No front cover " mailing label " on this issue either, which is often viewed as a major plus + to many Fans and Collectors, and especially when it's Garcia himself ! gracing the April 1971 Guitar Player Front-Cover !!  Please see all photos provided ... & Enjoy !!!!!
