BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN B. BLUMENTHAL & CO. MOURNING BROOCH PIN
This unique pin displays a Greek/Roman warrior cameo on a black glass background.  I am told the background is black French Jet,
and the cameo is Vulcanite(?).
There are 12 chain tassels with black balls at the ends.   The metal appears to be brass.  There is a fine crack in the black background.  It is more noticeable on the back, but it does go through to the front. Also, the pin stick is missing, but could be replaced--the mounting are there.
