ntique Victorian Sterling Silver Wine Jug Decanter made at the workshop of Alexander Macrae, London in 1868 .
Ovoid in form with a scroll handle, the body engraved with foliage and garlands with opposing oval plaques.Original stopper with old cork - tree insert.
Full set of British hallmarks on the neck and the rim of original stopper.
> 35.5 cm high. Weight : 673 grams
Fine condition,
minor compressions to surface consistent with age and use, base sits slightly unevenly.
